On 17 June 2026, the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne will host the very first Global Wine Tourism Day, bringing together international leaders, experts and award winners for an exceptional gathering dedicated to the future of wine tourism.
This unique event — held for the first time in the world of wine tourism — combines high-level conferences, round-table discussions, masterclasses and curated tastings, culminating in the official Wine Travel Awards 2026 Winners Ceremony

Déroulé. Morning – Vision & Heritage
Welcome coffee and institutional opening session, followed by a curated conference series exploring wine heritage as a pillar of human civilisation, regional identity and contemporary global challenges.
. Midday – Networking
Standing cocktail lunch with international professionals and award nominees.
. Afternoon – Tailored Programme
Participants select 3 to 4 sessions among workshops, masterclasses and thematic conferences, including:
– Guided tours of the Cité
– Masterclasses led by Masters of Wine and experts
– Comparative tastings of Bourgogne and international wines
– Conferences on wine heritage, tourism and business challenges
– Round-table discussions on key sector issues
